Superb technology ensures full sunlight readability
The FD-824 is a 24” 4K Main Console display offering a brightness of 440 cd/m² to ensure full sunlight readability under all expected ambient lighting conditions typically encountered on board Navy ships.

Multi-touch capabilities
The FD-824 features a glove compatible projected capacitive multi-touch screen supporting up to four simultaneous touches and gestures. Combined with LCD Flicker Compensation (LFC) technology and an extremely compact, lightweight design, it is perfectly suited for mission-critical operations in naval environments.

Optional Lighted Writing Surface (LWS)
The optional LWS-824 panel provides an optically clear writing surface to be attached to the front of the FD-824 utilizing a mounting mechanism that fastens in just seconds. This allows the operator to make annotations using a grease pencil. The LWS-824 provides edge lighting of the writing surface to make the grease pencil markings visible to the operator.
